Designer Allison Hourcade has not only created a line of jewelry that incorporates edgy rock 'n roll gusto with femmy vintage glam.
She has also developed an innovative, collaborative business model that sees her working one-on-one with the very bands that inspire her to create her sassy pieces.
By working directly with these bands to produce their own line of exclusive merchandise that they can then sell to their fans, RockLove is fulfilling their mission to spread their anthem of artistic unity through the exchange of creative energy.
Emilie Autumn and TechniKult of Flesh are examples of notorious darker industrial bands with whom RockLove is currently working with, inspiring their Victorian Glam Collection, which combines edgy, goth styles with feminine silhouettes.
Rockabilly bands The Creepshow and Black Betty and the Bad Habits support RockLove's movement in the pin-up hellcat world, and have inspired RockLove's Pin-Up Vixen Collection, which marries vintage sass with rockabilly style.
Additionally, RockLove has been working with the fabulously talented photographers Ama Lea and Roy Varga from the professional pin-up scene.
RockLove has taken their collaborative motto and built it into every aspect of their brand, resulting in an exciting and inspiring niche that helps to unite band and fan through rockin' music, stylin' jewelry and fueled by RockLove's creatively captivating spirit.
RockLove is also involved with The Pin-Up Angels, an all-volunteer group of models founded by former Marine and burlesque artist Miss Kitty Baby, proud Army wife Cherry Lane, and pin-up model and Marine big sister Lola Dee, who raises money through the sale of vintage-style pin-up images.
To read more about this wonderfully innovative collaboration and to get involved by both raising funds and enlivening the spirits of our troops this holiday season, we invite you to read our feature on RockLove's Holiday Donation Event.
